FAQs

How long does it take to build my website?

Typically around two weeks. We build in stages: requirements gathering, creative customisation,  HTML build, and then the CMS integration. Each stage is approved by you before we move onto the next, so approval times may impact the time line.

How customizable are the template layouts?
The layouts are fixed, but colours, text and navigation items are all customized during the creative stage. If you really need a custom change to a template, we can provide you with a quote to do so.

Can I view the site before it goes live?
Yes, of course. You will have access to a stage site online once the HTML pages have been uploaded to the server. Once the content management system has been integrated, you will have access to start adding your content.

How do I upgrade to the next package and how much is it?
To upgrade to the next package, please contact us to order. The cost will be the difference of the package cost, plus and additional $200 (plus GST), as there is extra time required to perform an upgrade. If you already have the Professional package and would like to add some additional functionality, such as extra forms, e-commerce catalog, membership registration etc. we can provide you with a quote for this.

Who puts the content in?
We add dummy content initially, and once you have your login, you can start adding the content in yourself. If you have an existing website and/or you can provide us with content in electronic  format, we will add text content into the top level pages of your site at the time of building your site.

What if I don't have a logo?
We can create simple text logos as part of the creative phase, but anything more complex will be extra.

Can I use my own hosting service?
Yes, you can - if you current hosting provider fulfils the standard requirements of the Content Management Tool. We can supply you with the requirements for the content management software on request. There will be an additional charge to install and configure the software on another server.

What sort of training do you provide for the content management system?
It is really so simple to use that no much is required at all. We can provide over the phone support for anything tricky and there is also detailed user documentation available.

What kind of after sales service and support do you provide?
We are available by phone during business hours, and we have 24 hour email support.
